A sprite pic of Mei and Gabu meeting in front of the barn in which they first met. Mei is basically the same as his DS sprite, but he's been re-colored in his movie colors and has a bit of a waist extension. Gabu's sprite was constructed the same was I did Giro and his other pack members.
Mei, Gabu and Arashi no Yoru Ni are (c) Yuichi Kimura and TBS.

So what're these from? I know I could just Google "Arashi no Yoru Ni", but hey, I'm lazy. Too much work.
Without knowing anything about the subject material though, I like this picture. It's so small and simple...how could I not love it? I get this happy feeling of simplicity by looking at it.
Arashi no Yoru Ni is a Japanese anime movie, based on a series of light novels by Yuichi Kimura. If you've ever got the time, make sure you give it a watch!
I rather sprited these based from there appearances from the DS game based on the movie (Japan only). Gabu's (the wolf's) body in particular is way different from DS game sprite, while I changed Mei's (the goat's) size and recolored him.

"Awwwww!"
The elegant and simple messages and subject matter really reminded me of Doggy Poo (which if you haven't heard of, you should: [link]).
Thanks for inadvertently turning me onto such a wonderful little story.
I'll have to check out your film recommendation too
